Improvisation - I'm the Music Guy

OK, so my wife began doing Improv as a supplement to her regular acting addiction. I started doing Improv as an outlet to my music addiction other than open mic nights at the local pub.

Piano at 11 (only lasted 1 year), Trumpet at 13, Guitar at 20, Harmonica at 24, back to keyboard at 32. I'm pretty good on the guitar and harmonica, barely competent on the keyboard and I pick up my dad's trumpet about once a year.

What Happens Next grabbed me when I offered to be their music guy, and it's been a great partnership. As I don't have a lot of time, given the rest of what's going on in my life, WHN gives me time to practice and perform without demanding perfection.

In fact, when I do something entirely weird or discordant, they work it into the scene. Likewise I'm expected to react to what they are offering as well. It's great fun.
